This website provides information for both adults and professionals to help reduce falls. Here you will find easy, inexpensive ideas that help reduce and prevent falls.
Falls are the leading cause of injury for children and for adults 35-years and older. Falls and fall-related injuries among adults over age 65 are on the rise. Currently Minnesota ranks third among states in the number of fall-related deaths. Having a fall can change one’s life forever. Use this website to learn the ways you can keep Minnesotans right side up.
The website is divided in two sections, one section for adults to get hands-on information to prevent falls. The second section is for any professional that works with adults. The resources found in this section can help professionals identify the risk factors for falls, and the interventions to prevent them.
